One week after that electric Milano-Sanremo, the spring classics are fully underway—and we’re heading straight into the heart of Flanders for two huge races: the E3 Saxo Classic this Friday, and Gent-Wevelgem on Sunday.

The road to the Spring Classics runs through Italy this week. Tirreno-Adriatico, the "Race of the Two Seas," kicks off today, bringing a stacked lineup of climbers, sprinters, and Classics contenders. For some, it's a warm-up. For others, it's a battleground. Paris-Nice kicks off this Sunday, and while last year’s champion Matteo Jorgenson is back to defend his title, the clear favorite is his Visma-Lease a Bike teammate, Jonas Vingegaard. Both riders come into this race in top form—Vingegaard recently dominated the Volta ao Algarve, while Jorgenson looked strong at Opening Weekend in Belgium. But the dynamic between the two will be fascinating. Will Visma race fully in support of Vingegaard? The Strade Bianche may have a short history compared to some of the events on the UCI cycling calendar, but the annual trek across the Tuscany region of Italy continues to grow in prestige.

This Saturday, Strade Bianche returns, taking us through the rolling Tuscan hills, the historic white gravel roads—the strade bianche—and finishing in one of the most beautiful settings in all of cycling: Piazza del Campo in Siena.
