The GC Evolves As 'Real' Mountains Arrive On Stage 8 | Ian & Friends

After a quick check in from Gregor on the ground Michael and Alex dive into stage 8 of the 2020 Tour de France.

Stage 8 saw the peloton enter the Pyrenees where they were greeted by a startling amount of fans on the mountain roads.

Neilson Powless had a cyclocross moment but came away with another great breakaway success, Toms Skujins fought hard for a podium and the GC riders tested each other on the final climb of the day. Adam Yates retained the yellow jersey, but Primoz Roglic looks ready to take it. Slovenian Tadej Pogacar found redemption and the top ten remains a very open race.
