The 2025 Flanders Classics schedule continues April 6 with the Tour of Flanders. There will be a men’s race and a women’s race. Here’s how to watch the men.

The cycling season is filled with storied events. Some are one-day battles. Some last weeks.
What’s consistent is the volumes of history, tradition and prestige, and that couldn’t be truer than at the five events that are considered the Monuments of cycling.
The next Monument on the calendar is the Tour of Flanders, set for April 6, and the day will feature a pair of races – one for men, and one for women.
The Tour of Flanders - Men will get underway at 5 a.m. Eastern and is expected to end at approximately 11:30 a.m. EDT.

Also known as the Ronde van Vlaanderen, the Tour of Flanders means so much to Belgian cyclists and fans that it is considered by many to be an unofficial world championship.
The race was held for the first time in 1913 and will be celebrating its 109th edition in 2025, while the women’s race was added in 2004.
One thing that’s unique about the Tour of Flanders is that it’s the only one of the five Monuments that also is one of the Flanders Classics.
This year, the Tour of Flanders - Men will feature 268.9 kilometers of racing, kicking off in the main market square in the center of Bruges, West Flanders, Belgium, and finishing in Oudenaarde in East Flanders.
The men will be challenged by seven cobblestone sectors and 16 climbs.
In the first 108 runnings of the Tour of Flanders, the race was won by a Belgian rider 69 times, with the Netherlands next on the list with 13 victories. Seven riders have won the race three times, and another 11 have been victorious twice. Of those 18 riders, 14 are from Belgium.
Mathieu van der Poel of the Netherlands won the men’s Tour of Flanders in 2024, breaking free more than 40 kilometers from the finish. The victory made him the most recent three-time winner to go along with titles in 2020 and 2022.
Among those expected to join Van der Poel in the quest for the 2025 title will be superstar Tadej Pogacar, who won the Tour of Flanders in 2023 to deny Van der Poel a chance at a repeat.
