The Flanders Classics schedule resumes April 2 with the Dwars door Vlaanderen. There will be a men’s race & a women’s race. Here’s how to watch the women.

The women’s Dwars door Vlaanderen has been dominated by riders from the Netherlands since its inception in 2012, but the rest of the world will have another chance to get on the board when the 2025 edition takes place April 2.
In 12 previous years, a rider from the Netherlands has stood atop the podium 10 times, with Finland and Italy each winning once.
The 13th women’s Dwars door Vlaanderen – Women, part of the second-tier UCI Women’s ProSeries, will include 24 teams
The women’s race will get underway at 9:40 a.m. Eastern and is expected to end at approximately 1 p.m. EDT.

The women’s Dwars door Vlaanderen might be shorter than the men’s race, but it certainly doesn’t lack challenges, as the women will be tested by six cobblestone sections and seven climbs over 128.5 kilometers.
The race will begin at the Hippodroom Waregem, a famous venue used for horseracing, and once again will conclude on the Verbindingsweg, also in Waregem, part of West Flanders, Belgium.
The first men’s Dwars door Vlaanderen was held in 1945, and the race became part of the World Tour in 2017. The women’s race was added in 2012 and traditionally is held on the same day.
Two women have won the race multiple times, both hailing from the Netherlands – Amy Pieters (2014, 2015, 2016) and Ellen van Dijk (2018, 2019).
Dutch rider Marianne Vos won the women’s Dwars door Vlaanderen in 2024, outsprinting Shirin van Anrooij for the victory.
Among those expected to join Vos in the quest for the 2025 title will be Elisa Balsamo (Italy), Lotte Kopecky (Belgium), Elisa Longo Borghini (Italy) and many more.
