Four of the six traditional segments of the Flanders Classics will be taking place in April this year, and next up is the Dwars door Vlaanderen on April 2.
The Dwars door Vlaanderen - Men will be contested for the 79th time and take 25 teams of riders on a 184.2-kilometer journey.
The men’s race will get underway at 7:25 a.m. Eastern and is expected to end at approximately 11:35 a.m. EDT.

The men’s Dwars door Vlaanderen will begin in Roeselare and finish in Waregem. Both cities are located in West Flanders, Belgium. The riders will face seven cobbled roads and 10 challenging climbs.
The first men’s Dwars door Vlaanderen was held in 1945, and the race became part of the World Tour in 2017. The women’s race was added in 2012 and traditionally is held on the same day.
Across the previous 78 editions of the men’s competition, 54 were won by a rider from Belgium.
In all, 14 riders, including 10 from Belgium, have won twice, a feat most recently accomplished by Mathieu van der Poel of the Netherlands (2019, 2022). He’s one of 11 riders from the Netherlands who have combined for 15 wins at the race.
The reigning champion in the men’s Dwars door Vlaanderen is Matteo Jorgenson of the United States, who won this year's prestigious Paris-Nice title on March 16.
Jorgenson is set to compete in the Dwars door Vlaanderen in 2025, but the complete list of participants has not been released as of March 18.
