Quinn Simmons Moves Up In Grass As Peloton Nears Finish Of Stage 3 Of 2022 Tour De France, Is Subsequently Sanctioned

American Quinn Simmons took to the grass in an effort to get in position for the finale of stage 3 of the 2022 Tour de France. After the race, the UCI fined the American 500 Swiss francs and docked him 25 points in the UCI classification. 

He was also penalized 20 seconds the overall classification of the Tour de France, 40 points in the points classification, and one point in the KOM competition.
