Gregor and Andrea recap the longest stage of the Tour de France which saw the yellow jersey go on the offensive early in the day.

Stage 7 of the 2021 Tour de France was the longest stage of the race at 249 kilometers. Early in the day Mathieu Van Der Poel and Wout van Aert went on the attack, eventually forcing a large split in a crosswind section.

It was a dramatic day for the GC riders as Primoz Roglic cracked and Richard Carapaz went on the offensive.

Mathieu van der Poel bolstered his lead in the yellow jersey. Will he be able to hold onto it during the weekend's mountain stages? Gregor and Andrea make predictions for the Tour's upcoming visit to the Alps.
