Devastating Crash During Nokere Koerse Finish

Massive pileup during the cobbled finish of the elite men's race at Nokere Koerse. Mathieu Van Der Poel had to be taken to the hospital, but thankfully suffered no serious injuries. 

Statement from Correndon: 

Nokere Koerse didn’t end as we expected. A nasty crash for Mathieu van der Poel on the finishing straight. Van der Poel was taken to Hospital by ambulance however after a check up he was given the all clear with only a few cuts and bruises to show. This shouldn’t be too much of an upset for Matthieu and he will be able to continue his season on the road as planned.
