Pro Cycling's Toughest Domestique Is Not Done With Bike Racing
Over the course of his decades long career, Canadian Svein Tuft has forged a reputation in the pro peloton as a world class time trialist and selfless domestique. He's worn the pink jersey at the Giro d'Italia and stood on the podium at the World Championships.
Now, at 41, Tuft starts a new chapter in his career, joining the upstart American pro team Rally UHC. FloBikes contributor Molly Hurford sat down with Tuft at the Rally UHC team camp to learn about his motivation for joining the Pro Continental team and what his expectations are for his new role.
Watch Tuft and the Rally UHC team take on World Champion Alejandro Valverde and Tour de France winner Geraint Thomas at the Vuelta a la Comunidad Valenciana, Feb 6-10, live and on-demand on FloBikes.
