Egan Bernal, Geraint Thomas and Ineos make their season debut in Southern France at the Etoile de Bessèges stage race. The five day race features four stages on technical circuits with punchy climbs, and culminates with an 11km time trial.
The final day's race-of-truth finishes atop the 2.5km, 6-percent climb to the Sanctuaire Notre-Dame des Mines in Alès. Classics stars like Mads Pedersen, Greg Van Avermaet and Sep Vanmarcke will look to gain time ahead of the final time trial, and sharpen their form for Omloop het Nieuwsblad.
