Whether they’re weary or not, there’s little rest for U.S. cyclocross racers.

Only four days after wrapping up a crazy week in U.S. cross—with two World Cups and two UCI C1 races (including CrossVegas) all occurring within a week—the top American cross racers are headed to Connecticut to participate in the KMC Cross Fest at the Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park.

KMC Cross Fest is the first race in the four-race U.S. Cup-CX series, which also includes Charm City Cross in Baltimore (Oct. 7-8), the Cincy CX Festival (Oct. 28-29), and the Derby City Cup in Louisville (Nov. 4). 

The U.S. Cup-CX series will award $10,000 to the men’s and women’s overall series leaders.
