The first spring stage of the 2017 Tour de France didn't disappoint. It was a nervous finish with no team able to control the race going into the finale. It looked like Marcel Kittel (Quick-Step Floors) was too far back, but he timed his sprint perfectly to win the day and take over the lead in the points classification.
