The 2024 UCI Road World Championship is ready to conclude the summer cycling season as some of the best riders in the world head to Zurich, Switzerland hoping to become world champions. 

The event begins on Sept. 21 and will span an entire week with multiple disciplines, from Para-Cycling Mixed Handbike to the Men’s and Women’s Elite Road Races during the final weekend.

Some of the biggest names in the sport will race, including the 2024 Tour de France and Giro d'Italia winner, Tadej Pogacar. If Pogacar can take the Men’s Elite Race, he will be just the third rider ever to Triple Crown. 

Pogacar just won the GP Montreal and is aiming to be the first Slovenian to win the World Championship.
