Tour de France Stage 12 Route
There are six climbs in stage 12 of the Tour de France. The first, Côte de Thizy-les-Bourgs, appears 20.5 km, or 12.7 miles in.
There is a short break between Col des Ecorbans and Col de la Croix Montamain, this could be a good moment for the sprinters to move forward.
The final climb, Col de la Croix Rosier, is a category 2 bonus. In this case, the first three riders are awarded bonus points of 8, 5, and 2 seconds. The bonus does not count toward the general classification, so the points mostly apply to those who want the King of the Mountain title.
