Demi Vollering won the women's Amstel Gold Race on Sunday after breaking free of the pack on the final descent.
The Dutch rider had finished second the last two years, but this time, she finished with clear road between her and Belgian SDWorx team-mate Lotte Kopecky.
Another Dutch rider, Shirin van Anrooij, was third across the line in Valkenburg.
For Vollering, who is 26, it was a third major one-day victory of the season. she also won the Strade Bianche and Tour of Flanders.
"This was the plan, and we executed again so good," Vollering said at the finish.
The women's race crested its final climb, the Cauberg, with two kilometers to go.
"I wanted to attack on top of the Cauberg, and I saw that a lot of riders were already finished there so, I thought: 'Okay, this is perfect for us,'" she added. "I said yes, I go. I didn't dare to look behind and was just thinking go as fast as I can and probably they will doubt a little behind, so then they will never get me back."
She finished eight seconds ahead of the chasing pack.
The Amstel Gold counts toward the Women's World Tour standings, which Kopecky led going into the race.
